We are delighted to share information with you about the wedding ministry at Country Club Christian Church. Over 100 weddings are performed here annually, for members and non-members alike. Our church includes a lovely, large sanctuary that seats up to 700 people and a small, intimate chapel with seating for 130. Both the sanctuary and the chapel have balconies and center aisles leading to the front. The stained glass windows in the sanctuary are magnificent works of art in deep jewel tones of blue, red and purple. The windows are smaller in the chapel but are created from the same rich colors.

All our weddings are on Saturdays and most weekends we have three or more ceremonies scheduled. Keep in mind that most couples plan their weddings many months in advance. The evening time slots are nearly always requested first and are taken the most quickly.

Every wedding ceremony at Country Club Christian Church is a sacred event where the bride and groom pledge themselves to one another in the presence of God. Our policies about weddings emerge from this conviction and they apply whether or not the participants are members of this congregation. You will meet with the officiating minister to plan your service. Additionally, you will meet with our minister of music to discuss your music selections. Think in terms of sacred and classical music as you make your plans and contact your assigned organist if you have questions.

On the wedding day, each couple has a three-hour block of time scheduled so there is ample opportunity for the florist and photographer, as well as the ceremony. A one-hour rehearsal is planned for the preceding Friday evening. We provide dressing rooms for the men and women of the wedding party in both the main church and in the chapel. Smoking is not permitted in the buildings at any time. Also, no alcoholic beverages are allowed in the church buildings or on the parking lots or grounds.
