Eldar in Concert for Darfur on May 15

Internationally renowned jazz pianist and Grammy nominee Eldar played a one-night benefit concert on Thurs., May 15 at which we raised more than $12,000 to benefit the humanitarian crisis in Darfur through Week of Compassion. More than 2.5 million people in Darfur have been forced to flee their homes because of brutal attacks on their villages as the result of an ongoing military conflict which has killed at least 200,000 people since violence escalated in 2004.

Donations are still being accepted! 100% of your contribution will go to Week of Compassion and their Darfur relief projects.

Eldar gave his first American piano concert in the Country Club Christian Church Sanctuary as an 11-year old boy, and the Country Club Christian Church helped support him and his family in their journey to the international stardom he enjoys today.
