Student Mission Trips

We believe that God is constantly calling us to service in our city and world and that it is never too soon to start. Sixth through 12th  grades are foundational years for our students as they learn the practice of being in relationship with those living on the margins- those Jesus calls us to serve.

Middle School MissionKC!

Every June our middle school students (grades 6-8) participate in a local service project, MissionKC!  This Friday through Sunday mission immerses students in Northeast Kansas City as they serve alongside our partner agencies, economically support the neighborhood by eating dinner in family-owned restaurants, and build lasting relationships with the people of our city. Watch the newsletter and the church calendar for details about the next trip.

High School

Every June our high school students (grades 9-12) engage in a week-long service opportunity. These missions operate on a three-year rotation.  This model allows each student to participate in at least one international mission during high school, visit Texas Christian University (our denomination’s premiere university) and engage in urban mission in another city within a one-day drive of Kansas City.

Year A:  International Mission Trip (see below)

Year B:  Mission Trip to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area including a college visit to Texas Christian University

Year C:  Regional Domestic Mission Trip (location will vary)

High School International Mission Trip

Country Club Christian Church high school students travel on mission to Nicaragua during Year A. Through the church’s relationship with CEPAD, these students learn work among the poorest of the poor in this developing country.

Watch the newsletter and the church calendar for details about these trips.
