The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. — John 1:5

The darkness sometimes overwhelms us. World events and family concerns challenge us. In the midst of the worry and the busyness, “One Candle Is Lit.” The December sermon series will look at how God’s light becomes meaningful and real, bringing hope, peace and love to us and the whole world.

Join us in worship on Sundays, December 3, 10, 17 and 24 at 9:00, 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.

Then, return on Christmas Eve as one candle is lit, and then another, and another, in exultation of the child born to bring light and peace to the world.
