Update from Nancy Lear at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday from Washington, D.C.
We’re all on the plane, waiting to take off. In a mere 15 hours, we will land in Johannesburg, then another flight to East London. It will be Sunday evening when we arrive. Orientation begins Monday morning. We are sitting next to a group of high school students going to Queenstown to teach reading. Queenstown is where we did our main work project in 2005.
