Youth Scavenger Hunt Socials

Youth grades 6-8 are invited to join us for a picnic and scavenger hunt at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum on Sun., Oct. 11, from noon to 2:30 p.m. We’ll have a bring-your-own picnic lunch in the Nelson front yard before an outdoor scavenger hunt and a chance to spend some time inside the museum together. Bring a sack lunch, a picnic blanket, and a mask.

Youth grades 9-12 are invited to join us for a scavenger hunt around the Plaza neighborhood before a picnic dinner on Sun., Oct. 11, from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. Meet at Mill Creek Park for scavenger hunt around the Plaza after which we will walk to Frank A. Theis park (across from the Nelson) for our dinner picnic (we’ll order to-go; restaurant TBD). Bring a picnic blanket, a mask, and $10 for dinner.

Both opportunities will be primarily outside and will allow for social distance the entire time. If rain or poor weather force us to postpone, we’ll announce via text, email, and Instagram two hours prior to either event.
