The Congregational Board has called Rev. Catherine Stark-Corn to serve as Minister to Children and Families, a half time position she had held on an interim basis since January 2018. “Catherine brings compassionate wisdom, pastoral insight and a spirit of creative teamwork to all that she does,” said Rev. Carla Aday. The Personnel Committee was enthusiastic about welcoming Rev Stark-Corn back to our staff.
Catherine served as a minister at Country Club Christian Church from 2001-2013 working in singles ministries and later with children, youth and families. She has worked with children the majority of her adult life in roles as an educator as well as minister. Catherine is married to Brian Corn and they have two sons, Taylor, a freshman at Drake University, and Spencer a sophomore at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy.
