The Gathering
As someone new to the staff, I’m still learning lots of vocabulary particular to our congregation. Terms like Pathways (when a lot of Sunday school classes come together for a special education offering at the 10:00 a.m. hour), Faithbook (a Bible study Carla leads, playing off the well-known social media site), and now the Gathering (an occasional get-together in the library on Sunday mornings for anyone interested in knowing more about joining).
Pathways to Learning: Sports

Rev. Carla Aday’s Installation is Sept. 24
Rev. Carla Aday will be installed at Country Club Christian Church's new Senior Minister on Sun., Sept. 24. There will be one service only that day, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a reception.
Guest Gathering

New Year’s Day Service
On New Year's Day, January 1, we will have one worship service, at 10:30 a.m. Dr. Glen Miles preaching "Glory," John 1: 1-18. No Sunday School classes or child care.
Nicaragua Partner Visit
Frank Medrano and his family will be at our 11:00 a.m. worship service on Sun., Aug. 28.
Upcoming Guest Lunch & New Member Sunday
We invite all guests and friends of the congregation to attend the luncheon from 12:15-1:30 p.m. on Sun., Sept. 18 to learn more about the church, meet the ministers and ask questions about the denomination and church.
Join the Welcoming Ministry
Greeting guests and other members on Sunday morning is one of the most important ministries that each of us can participate in at Country Club Christian Church. The primary role is to make people feel welcome and comfortable.
People Get Ready: Festival Sunday is September 11
Join us on Festival Sunday, the beginning of a new year of spiritual growth opportunities for children, youth and adults. Inspirational message, great music, food, fellowship and fun!
