As you read this on sunday morning, the nicaraguan mission team is heading back to houston from managua.  Whether or not we will make it to kansas city from houston is a different story. But hey, beautiful, sunny and upper 80s all week? We’ll hold on to that memory for awhile.

The concrete walls of the community center we helped build were all but finished as we rolled out of the village on friday.  And as the clinic closed, we saw the last of almost 200 patients from 3 villages.

A brief stay on some volcanic islands in lake nicaragua near the border with costa rica (and a 237 hour drive back to managua) wrapped an amazing week of work and fellowship.  There are great stories and pictures that no blog or twitter feed can ever live up to, so please be sure to ask a mission team member about their individual experience.
