Sunday and Monday were days of celebrating after all of our hard work at the Thembani Centre. We started by joining the Xhosa church that we had painted in worship. Next, we headed south to the Schotia game reserve. We enjoyed an afternoon and nighttime drive through the private reserve, where we saw hippopotamuses, giraffes, tortoises, monkeys, mongooses, rhinoceroses, warthogs, wildebeests, nyala, kudu, impala, zebras, ostriches, and lions. The next day, we visited the Addo elephant park. I think the pictures of the animals that were right outside of our range rovers during these two days are more descriptive than my words could ever be…
