Two hundred members and friends of Country Club Christian Church will canvass the Kansas City community on Saturday, April 9 for Grace at Work, a metro-wide volunteer event designed to help partner agencies implement visible improvements in our community. The church will send volunteers of all ages to partner agencies for half-day work projects. Agencies include:

–          Goodwill Industries

–          Rose Brooks Center

–          Habitat for Humanity

–          Harvesters Community Food Network

–          Grace United Community Ministries

–          Micah Ministry at Independence Boulevard Christian Church

–          The Whole Person

–          Kansas City Urban Youth Center

–          Cross-Lines Community Outreach

Projects include interior and exterior maintenance and repair projects, working with agency clients and other assorted jobs as needed. In addition, some volunteers will participate in work projects on the Country Club Christian Church campus at 6101 Ward Parkway. Volunteers will gather at Country Club Christian Church at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 9, prior to dispersing to their assigned agencies or project locations.
