Some people refer to the Bible as God’s word. Others refer to the Bible as pointing to Jesus as God’s word. But does God still speak in modern times? Or did God turn off the microphone and put away the pen long ago? Is God silent now that Jesus isn’t on the scene telling parables and spouting Beaitutdes? And what about those moments in our lives when we long to hear God’s guidance but all we hear is a deafening silence? During this sermon series we will reflect on the ways the divine presence arises today in real life, to discover what we might hear.

Sun., Nov. 3 — Part 1: Divine Silence, based on Habakkuk 1:1-4; 2:1-4. Rev. Carla Aday preaching.
