Cross-Lines Community Outreach

CFK Cross-Lines Food Kitchen

The first Tuesday of each month serve a Taco Salad lunch to 150-225 people. The meal is commonly referred to as “Taco Tuesday” by the guests and is very popular.  Country Club Christian Church has partnered with Cross-Lines since 1988.  Cross-Lines serves lunch Monday – Friday each week.

Cross-Lines Community Market

KCK area residents nutrition needs are supported by the Community Market where qualifying clients enjoy a grocery-store like experience where they can choose the foods most appropriate for their family.  Shoppers can come once a month and can shop for food, including fresh produce, milk and meat; household cleaning supplies, paper goods and full size hygiene items.  Volunteering in the Community Market works for ages.

Ways to Volunteer:

Help prepare and serve lunch.
Monthly a small team gathers on the first Tuesday to assemble and serve lunch.  A regular church team hosts this meal.  If you are a church member and interested in helping with this once a month opportunity, complete the form below.   To explore serving lunch on other weekdays, sign up directly with Cross-Lines  visit https://www.cross-lines.org/how-to-help/volunteer.html

Help price items and stock shelves.
The Community Market utilizes volunteers for a range of tasks Monday – Friday with varying time frames.  This is a great family friendly way to help.
