Join us on Sat., Apr. 21 for Grace at Work, a fun-filled half-day volunteer event open to all ages and abilities. Grace at Work supports our church and area organizations through our participation in various hands-on projects. Through your participation you will have the opportunity to experience fellowship, while assisting others in need and creating visible change in our community. Complimentary hot breakfast begins at 8:00 a.m. in the Social Hall before departing to work sites.

Hartman Elementary School
Project: Work with our Hartman School Partnership Team to put finishing touches on Hartman’s Outdoor Classroom. Spread fresh mulch, apply protective sealant to wooden benches and platform, add additional landscaping, rake leaves.

FULL – Cross-lines Community Outreach
Project: If weather permits work in Cross-Lines Community Garden. If raining organize in Thrift Store.

FULL – Grace United Community Ministries
Project: Outdoor facility improvements: lawn/grounds beautification, construction projects in sanctuary area and community garden.

Harvesters (at church)
Project: This project is appropriate for families with young children. Includes organizing envelopes and bags for Harvesters. Will take place at Country Club Christian Church.

Green Team (at church)
Project: The Green Team will need help planting Lirope (monkey grass) along the fence east of the chapel. We have 375 plants in 2.5 in pots so there is plenty to do. When planted we will need to water in and cover with mulch.

Project: Book cleaning, shelving, and repair.
