We are thrilled to announce our summer service-learning opportunities for 2021! This summer, we will host two service-learning weeks that will allow both middle and high schoolers a chance to serve, learn, and build memories together with local service-learning opportunities and one overnight component.
Middle School Service-Learning Week – Saturday, June 26 through Friday, June 2
Middle schoolers are invited to join from Sunday, June 27, through Friday, June 2, for a week of service, learning, and fun! Middle schoolers are invited to kick off the week with an overnight staycation at Crown Center on Saturday night, June 26.
High School Service-Learning Week – Sunday, July 25 through Saturday, July 31
High schoolers are invited to join from Sunday, July 25, through Saturday, July 31 for a week of service, learning, and fun! High schoolers will be invited to celebrate the week together with an overnight trip (TBD, within a 3 hour drive) on Friday night, July 30.
Youth who complete grades 6-8 this year will be eligible for the middle school service-learning week, and youth who complete grades 9-12 will be eligible for the high school service-learning week. Youth are invited to join for the whole week or separate events on days they are available, though participating from beginning to end is encouraged for the full experience! Registration and detailed schedules will be available in April.
Until then, mark your calendars and let me know if you have any questions!
