Chapel at 7:30 a.m., where we were introduced to the community, followed by rounds with Dr. Henry. After breakfast we headed to a small village in the new mobile clinic. The mobile clinic goes out twice a week. Although it goes to only two villages, with people coming from surrounding areas, it serves 46 villages. Karen and Susan Thorne also observed several surgeries. The day ended with dinner at the Henry’s with the school and hospital senior staff.
Friday morning, we attended the morning assembly at the Rambo School. After a tour of the school, we had fun reading and singing (and in Elizabeth’s case, doing math) with two second grade classes. Dr. Henry continued our tour of the campus and the new construction. We are looking forward to a trip to town with several student nurses in the evening.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 45px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][envira-gallery id=”3780″][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
