Registration is officially open for both the Middle School and High School Summer Service-Learning Weeks. Both weeks will invite youth to local service-learning projects throughout the week along with an overnight excursion. Below is more information for both!
Middle School Summer Service-Learning Week
Saturday, June 26 – Thursday, July 1
Youth who complete grades 6-8 in 2021 are invited to the Middle School Service-Learning Week from June 26- July 1. We will kick off the week with a day at YouthFront’s La Cygne camp to enjoy their water and outdoor recreation opportunities before a lock-in at the church, Saturday, June 26, 11:00 a.m. to Sunday, June 27, at 3:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, we’ll meet from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. for local service-learning weeks. Youth can join for the whole week or just for separate events as they are available, though participating from beginning to end is encouraged for the full experience! High School Summer Service-Learning Week
Sunday, July 25 – Saturday, July 31
Youth who complete grades 9-12 in 2021 are invited to the High School Summer Service-Learning Week from July 25 – 31. We will kick off the week after worship on Sunday, July 25, with a day together. Monday through Thursday, we’ll meet from 1:00- 7:00 p.m. for local service-learning weeks. We will leave Friday (7/30) around lunch for a night in Branson, and will spend Saturday (7/31) at Silver Dollar City before driving back to Kansas City. Youth can join for the whole week or just for separate events as they are available, though participating from beginning to end is encouraged for the full experience!
