Our sewing ladies were sensitive to the cultural differences of some ethnic groups by also providing matching t-shirts to be worn under the dresses for modesty.

The Della Lamb Preschool serves low-income children and parents pay on a sliding scale. The Creative Curriculum (Dept. of Elementary and Secondary Education – approved) and Conscience Discipline are the curriculum plans followed. Only about 10 percent of entering students speak English. The director reports that in six months these students can usually communicate in English. The preschool also has children from foster homes. Teachers are multi-ethnic and have been at Della Lamb on average of seven years and have associate or baccalaureate degrees in Early Childhood Education.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
