Earlier in May, we asked members and the Preschool to paint prayer rocks for the future of this church. It was a fun and meaningful activity for all ages.

New event location, many new committee members, new way to bid...same great event! The Annual Celebration Dinner and Auction was held on Friday, June 2, 2023. Over 120 members and guests attended to mingle and bid on over 130 silent auction items and 8 live auction opportunities.
The sun was not shining, but the excitement in the air and the smiles on faces definitely brightened the “Next 100 Groundbreaking” that was held on Sunday, March 26, 2023. Over 150 people of all ages gathered on the east side of the church where the most visible renovations will be taking place.

On Sunday, August 21, our congregation celebrated the young members of our congregation by presenting bibles to twelve third graders. A tradition that dates back almost 100 years, the children are encouraged to read, carry, mark in, dog ear and use the bibles until they are worn out from spiritual exploration.

I drive into the parking lot and the snow has been removed. A nursery attendant greets me with a smile and warm handshake in the children’s wing. She stands in the hallway ready for the little ones to toddle in. I walk into the parlor and smell the fresh brewed Roasterie coffee.
Something shifted within me. I saw something beyond what I was seeing. The adorable children were singing on the front steps of the church. There were 13 voices. They captured each note in a way that conveyed the meaning of the lyrics. Their eyes focused Alex as he directed. Their smiles melted me as they finished singing.
