The big news of this week is that preschool teachers are back!
This past week, the preschool teachers have been working hard setting up their classrooms for the return of the preschool on September 5th. They’ve been followed by construction workers buttoning up different areas so everything looks as nice as it can for the kids.
Elsewhere in the building, our A/V system in the Sanctuary continues to be worked on. Our previous system had old, outdated speakers that were starting to fail, causing an unbalanced audio experience depending on where you sit. We will now have brand new speakers throughout the sanctuary, along with tucking in all the cabling into the walls. That, along with the new lights, will enhance the Sunday experience for everyone inside the Sanctuary.
We are getting closer and closer to our anticipated reopening date of September 10 in the Sanctuary. Those who have been paying close attention to these updates are aware that we’ve been hedging that date a bit, knowing we’ve had some shipping issues here and there that could impact the reopening of the sanctuary. Next week, we will provide those final details, hopefully confirming the September 10 date for our return to the Sanctuary.
