The wealth of time and talent shared by volunteers here at Country Club Christian Church is a constant source of amazement to me. We are grateful for the difference these gifts make to the life of the church and its surrounding connections, be it local, national, or international.
Maybe, though, you’ve wanted to try something without feeling like you need to make a long-term commitment. On Sun., Dec. 9, Dr. Paul Tucker will be waiting for you in the choir room at 10:00 a.m. to field the first ever Sunday morning Pick-Up Choir. The anthem for the morning is an arrangement of “People, Look East,” which is familiar to Chancel Choir members. (For an advance copy, please contact Dina Pannabecker Evans at [email protected].) After just under an hour of rehearsal with Dr. Tucker, the choir will sing in the 11:00 a.m. service – a one-and-done opportunity for you to experience the fellowship of the choir, view the service from a different perspective, and exercise your vocal chords – all for the Glory of God as we work to enhance the worship experience.
