Inside the building, work has continued on the new east entry. More framing has been going up and we are starting to see framing for the new preschool director’s office, which will go in the alleyway between the north and south wings of the building. Speaking of the preschool, we welcomed children back this week. However, work has continued to get the teacher resource room completed. A BIG shout-out to Jayson Parker, Jeff McCalom, Lance Jessee, April Booth, and Silas Williams for putting together a TON of IKEA furniture and getting that space ready for teachers.
We also have new sidewalks on the outside of the building and are anticipating a new concrete pad to go in for our dumpsters and the Boy Scout trailer over in the chapel parking lot. That work should be done next week and the entire parking lot will be able to be navigable once it is finished.
