I wonder about God’s “mission” for us. What does that word even mean? I carried this question on the trip I took last weekend. Eleven middle schoolers and a couple other adults from our church community joined for our Middle School Service-Learning Trip to Des Moines, Iowa.
On April 2, 2023, also Palm Sunday, students from our 2023 Pastors’ Class gathered together to celebrate a successful session. The Pastors’ Class is a two month program for sixth graders (or older youth who are interested) and is led by clergy.
On Saturday, February 11, a group of members from Country Club Christian Church and Swope Parkway United Christian Church, worked together at Harvesters in the Souper Bowl Of Caring in honor of the Super Bowl.
Join us in worship on Sun., Aug. 21 as the 9:01 service moves back into the Sanctuary, children’s Sunday School resumes, and we present 3rd graders with Bibles.
